This gidgee Block  plane is 175mm long x 54mm wide x 38mm high. Weighs 0 .8Kg and has a 1 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick x 97mm long Tool Steel blade Rc 62-64, OR HSS 18% Tungsten blade Rc 62. It has a 55 degrees blade angle for planing or 85 degrees for scraping.  Knob  handle superbly shaped by Ross Burgess. General purpose planing or trimming of any small pieces of timber, particularly hardwood end grain. Alternate use as a cabinet scraper for cranky grain. Easily used in one hand.
