These gidgee
1" Hollow and Round Planes are 225mm long x
25 mm wide x 67 mm high.

and have a 3/16” thick x
1” wide
Tool steel blade Rc 62-64
They have a
60 degrees
blade angle with a 4 degree skew for planing.
The sole is a
1" radius, 60 degree segment either hollow or
round.
Used for
Forming curved shapes in
lengths of wood. Mainly to form various unique mouldings.
