This gidgee 1 1/4" Skewed Rebate is 225mm long x 32 mm wide x 67mm high. Weighs 0.6 Kg and has a 3/16” thick x  1 1/4” wide Tool steel blade Rc 62-64. It has a 60 degrees blade angle with a 4 degree skew for planing.   Used for forming and cleaning up large rebates along or across the grain.   The skewed blade provides for efficient shaving removal in long rebates, helps hold the left side of the plane into the corner of the rebate and helps to give a nice surface finish across the grain. Handy to use in conjunction with Hollows and Rounds to make mouldings.
